Developed for International Schools worldwide

We have worked closely with international school leaders to develop a set of 35 core teaching competencies that are a broad reflection of the competencies required to teach in international education.

The competencies are a combination of the knowledge, skills and attitudes a teacher should demonstrate, both in and outside of the classroom.

Broken down into 5 holistic themes, they cover the practice and knowledge of teaching, but also the professional attributes and personal values, including cultural, social and emotional competencies that international schools have told us they are looking for when it comes to hiring and developing teachers for their school.
