SkoolSpot is a team of educators, recruiters, instructional designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and global citizens committed to leaving the world a better place than when we received it, and enjoying the beauty in this world along the way.
Founder and CEO
Ash is a global education professional with over 15 years of experience in international teacher recruitment, onboarding, and development. He has led teacher recruitment projects at schools around the world, including the largest hiring and relocation project in recent history - over 6,000 teachers to Abu Dhabi schools.
He has led the design, development, production, and delivery of digital learning initiatives for world class institutions, including; OISE - University of Toronto, Teachers College - Columbia University, and Beijing Normal University.
As a committed member of the international education community, Ash volunteers his time with the Middle States Association of Schools (MSA) as an Accreditation Commissioner and with the International Task Force on Child Protection where he was a key author of the Recommend Screening and Assessment Practices for International School Recruitment. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, where he graduated as valedictorian.
Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Rebecca is a teacher first. From the land 'down under' to now settling in Canada, Rebecca has traveled the globe and accumulated over 10 years of international teaching, recruitment and digital product/technology management experience.
In addition to being an certified international educator, Rebecca applied her knowledge of the international education market to launch digital solutions for leading international teacher recruitment firms.
As a leader in Product Management, Rebecca has designed recruitment, visa and onboarding technical solutions for +500 international schools in +30 countries through the ongoing development of a digital recruitment platform solution. Along with her experience in education and recruitment, Rebecca has led companies to GDPR compliance as a Data Protection Officer ensuring compliance and protection for over 1.2 million teacher and student profiles.
Skills Planning and Development Lead
Alison is an MSc qualified Career Development Practitioner with over 10 years' experience helping students, teachers, and leaders to achieve their career goals. She has led partnerships with schools, employers and educational organizations to support career and skills development through the creation of teaching resources, experiential learning programs, and digital tools.
Alison has also managed a recruitment service for international schools and has led training to develop recruitment practices in international education.
Aman is a software solutions and management expert. For over 15 years, Aman has designed, delivered, and implemented Human Resources, Learning, and Recruitment solutions to world class organizations including international mining, regulatory and construction firms in addition to school boards and government organizations.
In addition to his Computer Science background, Aman holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Digital Learning Advisor
Nick is a digital learning expert with 10+ years of eLearning design management and 6 years intl. teaching experience. Nick is currently completing his MP.Ed from Western University.
Nick has created digital learning programs for top-tier universities and Fortune 500 corporations.
David serves as Superintendent of the American International School Kuwait, a Middle States Accredited school, a fully authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the PYP, MYP, and DP.
David is a 30 year veteran educator of U.S. public and overseas private school experience and holds a Master’s degree in Administrative Leadership, a Bachelor's degree in French and German, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
Christina is a career educator currently serving as Curriculum Director at the American International School Kuwait. She is an International Facilitator with the National School Reform Faculty and International Baccalaureate (IB) Workshop Leader and BQC reviewer.
Christina holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Bachelor's degree in French, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
